Differences between Master's and Doctoral programs
Master’s students will take Level I courses, while doctoral students will have access to more advanced content at Levels II and III. The Master’s program lasts 2 to 3 years, with a total workload of 1,500 hours, while the Doctoral program lasts 3 to 5 years, requiring a workload of 2,500 hours. Both courses are offered 100% online, providing flexibility and accessibility for students in their academic journey.
Course Presentation
The Master’s and Doctoral programs in Theology and Philosophy of Religion aim to provide a solid foundation in fundamental theological questions and philosophical reflections on religion. This program explores the foundations of faith, the major philosophical questions about God, morality, and human existence, as well as analyzing the relationship between diverse religious traditions and philosophical responses to contemporary challenges. General Objectives
To offer critical and theoretical training on the main themes of theology and philosophy of religion. To analyze the interactions between theology and philosophy in different religious traditions. To explore central questions of religion, such as the existence of God, religious morality, and the problems of evil. To promote philosophical reflection on faith, reason, revelation, and religious experience. To prepare students for the development of academic research and for work in theological and philosophical fields.
Specific Objectives
