Differences between Master's and Doctoral programs

Master’s students will take Level I courses, while doctoral students will have access to more advanced content at Levels II and III. The Master’s program lasts 2 to 3 years, with a total workload of 1,500 hours, while the Doctoral program lasts 3 to 5 years, requiring a workload of 2,500 hours. Both courses are offered 100% online, providing flexibility and accessibility for students in their academic journey.

Course Presentation

The History of Christianity program proposes an in-depth and critical study of the historical development of the Christian faith from its origins to the present day. With a rigorous academic approach, the program examines the social, cultural, political, and intellectual contexts that have shaped Christianity throughout the centuries.

General Objectives

To train researchers capable of critically investigating the historical sources of Christianity, analyzing the movements and transformations of the Christian church over time, understanding the interaction between Christianity and different cultural contexts, and contributing to the dialogue between history, theology, and other human sciences.

The Advanced Theological courses will be taught weekly in a live format, addressing specific historical themes and providing debates on historiographical methodologies applied to the study of Christianity. Training for Pastors and Religious Leaders (I, II and III)

  • The Pastor and Religious Leader Training course is an option geared towards those who want specialized training in ministerial leadership. With three levels of depth, the course offers essential theological deepening that pastors and religious leaders need for their roles. Students will develop practical and theoretical skills in areas such as pastoral theology, church management, and faith community development, preparing them to exercise effective and committed leadership.
